Five questions for Miami Hurricanes offense in Spring Game
5. How will the Miami Hurricanes new-look offense perform?
Richt told Miami Hurricanes play-by-play announcer Joe Zagacki earlier this week that the Hurricanes offense will look different this fall. The move of Trayone Gray from halfback to fullback and addition of the top fullback in the Class of 2018 will allow Richt to play more pro sets this fall.
Miami played three wide receivers often in 2017 out of necessity last season. They were not able to replace Marquez Williams from the 2016 roster. The Hurricanes struggled in short yardage last season. The lack of a fullback played a big role. When a fullback was required UM used offensive lineman Corey Gaynor.

Rosier spoke to Zagacki about the difference in personnel this fall.
"“Last year, we kind of got stuck in three receiver, one tight end personnel grouping…Sometimes you saw Deejay Dallas come in. This year, you have the two tight ends coming in [Brevin Jordan and Will Mallory], the fullback [Realus George]."
The Hurricanes will also have a much deeper roster at halfback this season. Richt was able to move Gray because of the additions of Lorenzo Lingard and Camron Davis in the Class of 2018. Lingard is on campus and will play in the Spring game. Davis will arrive this summer.
