The secondary will be led by safety Jaquan Johnson and cornerback Michael Jackson. Both are Seniors who decided to return to finish off their UM careers. Johnson was the Miami team MVP last fall. The other starters in the secondary are slated to be Jhavonte Dean at cornerback and Sheldrick Redwine at Safety.

1. How dominant can Gerald Willis be at defensive tackle?

Willis has received legendary status with the Miami Hurricanes before even starting a game. As a Sophomore backup Willis had 19 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and two passes defended.

Willis will not have the luxury of having an exceptional player lining up to him at tackle like McIntosh and Norton did. He will have a great player at end lining up next to him.

How can he perform after a year off from playing in games? A former highly ranked recruit with Florida, Willis has one final season in college to prove himself to NFL Scouts. DraftScout.Com lists Willis as the 18th best defensive tackle in the Class of 2019.

2. Can Greg Rousseau continue to dominate with quarterbacks having to be tackled?

Rousseau was dominant at defensive end in the first game of the Spring last Saturday. He had seven tackles, five tackles for loss and four sacks playing on the second and third-team defense.
