A lot of guys played, like Gilbert (Frierson), Greg (Rousseau) the DE, just really flying around. I think as a defense we did pretty well today, but we have a long way to go. “The only thing I told them was to do what got them here. They wouldn’t be at Miami if they couldn’t ball, so I just told them to go out there and play your game. That’s the only thing I told them. Don’t focus on the crowd, don’t focus on your mom and your dad up there, just focus on being the player you can be today, and I think they really did that.” “I think we have a lot of room to grow. We have a lot of shoes to fill. We have a lot of guys who still aren’t here yet who need to get used to the playbook and college football and the competition that comes with it.
