  • The second team offensive line is far younger than the first team. Brown was moved from right tackle on the first team to left on the second team.

Freshmen Delone Scaife and John Campbell will be at left guard and right tackle, redshirt Freshman Zalon’tae Hillery is expected to be the second team right guard and Sophomore Corey Gaynor is slated for center.

Richt is pleased with the talent they have on the offensive line. Getting those players experience is vital to the Hurricanes future up front.

"“I do think we’ve got the right ingredients,…We’ve got to just get those guys repping a lot together. … When you watch tape and you get four out of five doing it really good and one guy maybe having a missed assignment and/or guy getting whipped, it’s not like you want that to happen, but it’s a lot better than three out of five just being lost and you’re in trouble.”"

The Hurricanes will have three more opportunities to work on the continuity this week. They have their final two practices on Tuesday and Thursday.
