Coker and Gore spoke about Hester’s explosiveness and talent with the Post.
"“The most explosive player I’ve ever been around in my life….One of the most talented guys I’ve ever been around. He could play everything on the field. I think in five or six years he’ll be getting another yellow jacket.”"
Getting into the UMHoF is no easy feat. In a school that has produced seven Hall of Famers, five in the modern era of Miami football Hester’s understands his achievement.
"“This is a program that’s tough to make a Hall of Fame. There are so many athletes that come through this organization and to be a part of this forever, this is something I’m going to cherish, and my kids as well. We’ll treasure this moment.”"
