24 Ed Reed S Baltimore Ravens 2002

Reed was the star of defense on the Miami Hurricanes 2001 National Championship team. From there he was drafted by the Ravens and became a major part of one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Reed was selected to nine Pro-Bowls, five first-team All-Pro teams, a spot on the 2002 NFL All-Rookie team and first team All 2000s. Three times during his career Reed led the NFL in interceptions and twice led the league in interception return yards. His 64 career interceptions are seventh in NFL History.

Reed was named among the top 20 players in the league by the NFL Network three times. He was named the 2004 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Reed was just as much of a ballhawk at Miami as he was with the Ravens. His 21 career interceptions in college are fourth in college football history. Seventeen of his 21 collegiate career interceptions and all four of his return touchdowns came in his final two seasons. Reed helped the Hurricanes to a 24-1 record in those two years.

Reed ranks first all-time in Ravens history in Interceptions, Interception return yards, return touchdowns and passes defended.
