Miami, North Carolina, Duke and Kentucky all had in-home visits with the Carey family since the Spring evaluation period began three weeks ago after the end of the College Basketball season

Carey Jr. recently discussed how he felt about each of his suitors with Rivals.Com. He seemed more impressed with the four blue blood programs chasing him than the Hurricanes. Each of the schools brings a different strength to the table. Carey has reached out to alums of the schools on the list.

Carey said that he is impressed by the way that North Carolina develops their big guys. The Heat’s Bam Adebayo told Carey that Kentucky is a really good program. Michigan State and Duke told Carey that he would be the go-to guy in their programs.

At any of the aforementioned schools, Carey would just be a number in a long line of great players. At Miami, he can stand out.

Carey would have the possibility of helping to recruit more great players. The Class of 2019 with Carey and one or two other high-level recruits would likely be the best in school history. The Class of 2017 currently holds that distinction.

Carey spoke to Rivals.Com about what makes the Hurricanes stand out in their recruitment of him.
