Carey said that he will not narrow the list anytime in the near future. Rivals.Com expects the primary suitors to be Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Michigan State and the Hurricanes.

247Sports gives Duke a 54 percent chance to land the talented big guy. The Hurricanes and Spartans are second with a 23 percent chance.

Carey also discussed what his timetable will be for his recruiting process.

"“I was thinking about cutting my list down again last week, but I will hold off probably until after my travel season…No visits set up for now. I probably won’t do any more visits until … July.”"

Larranaga has built one of the best programs in the ACC by developing his young talent and getting blue chip transfers. Earlier this spring the Miami Hurricanes Head Coach mentioned that landing Walker and Bruce Brown can be program changing.

They were great players but did not win an NCAA Tournament game in their tenure in Coral Gables. Landing a player of Carey’s caliber can lead to more positive developments for the program and in recruiting. Carey can be program transcendent.

Walker might sneak into the lottery. There is a big difference between Walker being selected somewhere between tenth and 20th and Carey likely going in the top five to ten picks in the draft.
