As a Senior Berrios increased that to 15.9 yards per return. He fell three returns shy of qualifying to be among the leaders in punt returners. He would have finished second in the nation in 2017. That would have also led the ACC by over two yards per return.
NFL.Com’s Lance Zierlein seemed to foreshadow Berrios to New England in his overview of the former Hurricanes wide receiver for the NFL Draft.
"“While Berrios is a little stubby and tight-hipped, he has explosive characteristics and shows the ability to uncover and the toughness to make contested catches look easy. Berrios may appeal to teams looking for a slot receiver who can work the middle of the field and attack with intermediate routes. His ability to return punts simply adds to his roster value. Getting caught up with what he can’t do rather than what he can do would be a mistake.”"
Berrios is perfectly suited for the slot in the Patriots offense. He gets a chance to play with arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Tom Brady puts his teammates in a place to succeed better than anyone currently playing in the NFL.

Berrios should be a no-brainer as a success in New England. He will be compared to Amendola, Wes Welker and his newest teammate Julian Edelman throughout his career.
