Cornerback Dee Delaney came to Miami as a highly touted FCS All-American at the Citadel. He had an up and down Senior season with the Hurricanes. Delaney is joining McDermott with the Jaguars. He had 13 interceptions during his Citadel career. He managed only one during his one season with the Hurricanes.
Jacksonville has a pair of Pro-Bowlers at cornerback. A.J. Bouye and Jalen Ramsay had outstanding seasons in 2017. If Delaney is going to make the Jaguars he’s going to have to make it excelling on special teams. Delaney’s scouting report praises him as a tackler.
Anthony Moten played his HS ball at St. Thomas Aquinas, college ball at Miami and will now get a shot with his hometown Dolphins as a free agent, he tells the @SunSentinel.

Moten gets the chance to play his entire football career in South Florida. Porter’s scouting report of Moten says:
"“Has the size to play 3-technique tackle in the pros and has experience as a 3-4 defensive end and 4-3 tackle…He projects as a practice squad player.”"
The Dolphins didn’t draft any defensive linemen and their strength up front in at the ends. Moten still faces a difficult job of making the Miami roster.

He was a backup throughout his career with the Hurricanes. That’s likely the best case scenario for him in his attempt at a pro career.
