Junior Offensive Lineman Venzell Boulware
Venzell Boulware is an offensive lineman who will have two years of eligibility remaining at Miami after graduating from Tennessee. Boulware played in seven games with three starts for Tennessee in 2016 at right guard.
The offensive line has struggled significantly this Spring. Boulware will arrive on campus this summer with a chance to be a starter. After some reshuffling during the Spring, Hayden Mahoney is tentatively the starter at right guard.
Richt and offensive line coach Stacy Searles had to move some players around for Mahoney to get a chance to land on the first team offensive line. Navaughn Donaldson who was a Freshman All-American last season is now at right tackle.

Boulware was initially a three-star recruit for the Volunteers. To get a player of his caliber with experience was a huge signing for the Miami Hurricanes. According to Rivals.Com, Boulware chose the Vols over Ohio State.
Boulware was rated as the fourth best Graduate Transfer in the country by Rivals. Rivals.Com’s Mike Ferrell analyzed Boulware strengths and weaknesses.
"“Boulware was clearly an interior lineman with good feet that just needed to add some size and toughness out of high school. We liked his ability to pass block and he was a solid run-blocker, so he should help Miami early on the inside, especially improving the work against the pass rush. I like this pickup a lot for Miami."
What Miami lacks in experience at guard they will hopefully make up for in depth. In addition to Mahoney and Boulware, Miami returns rising Sophomore Corey Gaynor and has other players who can potentially play guard among the returnees and the incoming Freshmen.
