Kameron McGusty comes over from Oklahoma. He will have to sit out the 2018-19 season. McGusty will have two years of eligibility remaining commencing in 2019-20.

Anthony Mack is a 6’6 218-pound guard who redshirted as a Freshman last season at Wyoming. He played at Blair Academy, a prep school in New Jersey in high school. He was a teammate of Rising Miami Redshirt Freshman Deng Gak. Mack had to sit out his Freshmen season because of concussion issues.

He is appealing to the NCAA to get immediate eligibility since he sat out last season. Mack gives the Hurricanes good versatility on the wing.

Huell’s return was the most important news of the offseason thus far. Huell should be one of the focal points of the offense next season. He gives them a presence up front on both ends of the court.,

Huell, Ebuka Izundu, Gak and Rising Sophomore Sam Waardenburg give Miami a good rotation on the front line. Huell will likely team with Rising Seniors Izundu and Anthony Lawrence as the captains.

Lawrence is likely to start up front with Huell in a three-guard starting lineup. Huell will be the defacto center and Lawrence power forward. Lawrence is more of a small forward or wing.
