With the college football season less than two months away early projections are being made by media outlets. The Miami Hurricanes will likely begin the season in the top 10. That would land them in a Big Six Bowl Game.

National, regional and local media sites and blogs are all making predictions about how the 2018 season will turn out. The Miami Hurricanes are poised to build on their successful 2017 season. The three-game losing streak to end 2017 has players motivated to prove last season was not a fluke.

Miami got a big monkey off its back last season by winning the ACC Coastal Division and playing in their first ACC Championship game. No one expects them to defeat Clemson in the title game, but Miami is favored to repeat as Coastal Division Champions.

Where will that put them in 2018? If the Miami Hurricanes do not make the College Football Playoff this year, they will not be fortunate to be able to stay home and play in the Orange Bowl again. Hard Rock Stadium and the Orange Bowl is one of the two semifinal sites for the College Football Playoff. The Cotton Bowl is the other.

The consensus is that Miami will head to the Peach Bowl in Atlanta. Their opponent varies. The Orlando Sentinel, USA Today and the College Football News are three of the sites that have posted Bowl projections for the 2018 season. All three have Miami playing in the Peach Bowl.
