The only two home losses Miami has had under Richt were by a combined eight points in 2016. Florida State needed a blocked extra point to secure their victory.

North Carolina took a 20-3 lead over the Hurricanes at halftime in 2016. Miami outscored the Tar Heels 10-0 in the second half but was not able to complete the comeback. Miami’s attendance numbers are often called into question when judging the Hurricanes fan base.
