Who is most exciting player on Miami football team in 2018?

Malik Rosier is the most polarizing player on the Miami football team. His inconsistencies have frustrated many in the Miami fan base. Rosier’s dual-threat ability at Quarterback can often be exciting to watch.

Rosier ran for 468 yards and five touchdowns last season. That set the record for most rushing yards in a season by a Miami quarterback. Rosier also set a Miami record with 31 combined touchdowns last season.

Rosier has plenty of help on offense to create excitement. Ahmmon Richards, Jeff Thomas and a deep Miami receiving core will give followers of the Hurricanes a lot of exciting plays in 2018.

Running backs Travis Homer, DeeJay Dallas and Freshman Lorenzo Lingard will give the Hurricanes excellent balance offensively. Homer had a breakout season in 2017 after Mark Walton was lost for the year with an ankle injury. Richards led Freshman nationally in yards per reception in 2016. Thomas averaged 22 yards as a Frosh last season.

Dallas might be the shiftiest player on the Miami roster. He averaged 5.3 yards per carry last season and had four receptions for 93 yards. Dallas showed his versatility by running the ball out of traditional formations and the Wildcat. He did this after switching to running back from wide receiver following Walton’s injury.
