Head Coach Mark Richt and Miami Football players Ahmmon Richards and Jaquan Johnson will appear at the ACC Kickoff. The Hurricanes are scheduled for the final ACC Coastal interviews on Wednesday in Charlotte between 4:15 and 4:45 PM.

Coming off of their best season in 15 years the questions surrounding the Miami football team are not as numerous as they were in Richt’s first season two years ago.

Last year the Hurricanes entered the season with major questions about who the starting quarterback would be. Malik Rosier made Richt’s decision easy to chose him. Rosier showed the best grasp of the offense and physical capabilities of playing the position of any of the quarterbacks on the roster.

That choice upset many of the Miami football fans who wanted true Freshman N’Kosi Perry as the starting quarterback. The Hurricanes 10-3 record, first outright ACC Coastal Division title, the program’s first appearance in the ACC Championship game and Orange Bowl berth showed it was the right decision.

Some are asking if Perry or incoming True Freshman Jarren Williams can beat out Rosier this season. It’s going to take a huge leap from Perry or Williams in training camp this summer to beat out Rosier.

Richt said this Spring that Rosier responds well to a challenge. He will have to show more consistency this season to keep his job as the starting quarterback. Richt also mentioned that Rosier didn’t have to look over his shoulder in 2017. This season, Perry or Williams should be ready if Rosier falters.

Quarterback is just one of the questions that Richt and Richards are likely to face in Charlotte. Johnson will get his fair share as well. Here is what to expect and what others are expecting in relation to the Miami football program in Charlotte at the ACC Kickoff.
