CC-Well, I was actually at both of those Miami games last year and while it was (Sic) (a) much better crowd than in previous seasons for the Canes (since Miami is a front-runner sports town, and I say that as a native), there were plenty of seats empty and it was as loud as any game between FSU and Miami in the past…

People like Herbie were amazed just because that atmosphere hadn’t been at a Miami game in a while, so they forget what it was like (and it was nothing like FSU Miami games at the old OB, which I am still mad got torn down for that stupid Marlins stadium).

Aside from this year’s freshman class, the FSU football roster has played road games at places like Clemson, Florida and yes even the 2016 game at Miami which – as someone who was there – was about 60/40 Miami fans to FSU fans, hardly a home-field advantage.

The new configuration of Hard Rock Stadium with the half roof will keep the crowd noise in, but if Miami isn’t in control or blowing out the game like Canes fans seem to think will take place, it won’t matter.
