Part of the problem has been the shuffling around of players in different positions and in and out of the lineup.

Junior Graduate Transfer Venzell Boulware has replaced Jahair Jones as the starting left guard

. Delone Scaife has gotten a lot of time in place of Navaughn Donaldson at right tackle who moves to right guard when Scaife is in.

Scaife’s place in the lineup takes time away from Junior right guard Hayden Mahoney who has been steady. Mahoney was the starter at right guard on Saturday against Florida State. The rest of the offensive line was St. Louis and Donaldson at left and right tackle and Gauthier at center.

Gauthier is thus far their best offensive lineman. St. Louis has had his ups and downs at left tackles. St. Louis moved from right tackle this season. St. Louis was beaten on Saturday in play that eventually resulted in a sack and caused Perry to fumble.

The Miami Hurricanes have had excellent balance this season in the receiving corps. Braxton Berrios and tight end Chris Herndon IV were the dominant targets for Rosier last season. Berrios led the team in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. Herndon was second in all three.
