Miami Offense vs Duke Defense

The Miami offense would be the biggest question mark no matter who they are playing. It’s hard to say how much, if anything, we will learn about the Miami offense against a Duke defense that has been decimated by injuries.

The Miami Hurricanes have to try and establish the run early against Duke. The Blue Devils gave up a season-high 634 yards including 484 rushing in last week’s 54-45 loss at Pittsburgh. Four Panthers had at least 69 yards rushing. Pittsburgh scored 37 points in the second half.

The Miami offense has struggled as much as the Duke defense. The Hurricanes are 85th in the country in total offense averaging 387 yards per game. The number plummets to 329 yards and 91st nationally against other Power Five schools.
