The Bulldogs are 17th nationally in scoring averaging 87.8 points per game, 12th in field goal percentage at 51.4 percent and fourth in three-point field goal accuracy at 45.7 percent. Like Miami, Yale has great balance offensively. Four Bulldogs average in double figures and seven players average at least seven PPG.

    • Yale Sophomore guard Azar Swain who is third on the Bulldogs averaging 13.3 PPG is 11th nationally shooting 57.7 percent on three-point attempts. Junior forward Jordan Brunner is another Yale player to watch. He is second on the team averaging 13.5 PPG and leads them with 6.3 RPG and 3.5 APG.

    The Miami basketball team lost a pair of heartbreakers their last two times out. Miami’s last three games have come down to the final seconds, with the Hurricanes winning only one of those. Miami’s lack of depth is beginning to take its toll on the Miami players.

    Without Dewan Hernandez, who is still out while he awaits a decision on is eligibility, Miami is only eight deep. Their seventh and eighth players in the rotation, Deng Gak and Anthony Mack average only 14.3 and nine minutes per game. Four Hurricanes are averaging over 30 minutes per game and two more average at least 25 MPG.
