Getting Holley’s National Letter of Intent was important as Miami needs depth at Defensive Tackle and there were reports overnight and early Wednesday morning that he could flip his commitment from Miami. He will add depth to the defensive interior with Blisset.

Holley was also considered Florida, Auburn and Michigan State. As expected Miami is battling with Florida on multiple prospects. They will find out about tight end Keon Zipperer and defensive end Lloyd Summeral from Lakeland later this morning.
Clark seemed destined to be the first of the newest Hurricanes on Wednesday. He was eager to show his National Letter of Intent signed, sealed and ready to be delivered on Twitter Tuesday night.
Holley is the newest Hurricane that Mark Richt is mining from his former roots in Georgia. Sophomore Georgia native running back DeeJay Dallas has helped greatly with recruiting with his recruiting Class in 2018 and the two classes behind him.
Miami’s Class is expected to come in somewhere in the 30s per the 247 rankings. It’s too early to be concerned as several highly ranked players will make their college choices later in the day and even more next month.
The Hurricanes are the favorites to ink five-star wide receiver Jadon Haselwood from Georgia and Five-star defensive end Khris Bogle from Cardinal Gibbons in Fort Lauderdale. Both players will significantly improve the Hurricanes ranking in the Class of 2019.
