Miami Hurricanes starting quarterback N’Kosi Perry made another poor choice on social media it was reported by multiple outlets late on Friday afternoon.

A late report on Friday afternoon from multiple outlets claimed that Miami Hurricanes starting quarterback N’Kosi Perry made another questionable post on social media. The post in question was a ten second sexually suggestive video that was first reported by the school’s student newspaper the Miami Hurricane.

The post that reportedly showed two people having sex initially appeared on Perry’s Snapchat page on September 15 within 15 hours after Miami’s victory at Toledo. It then resurfaced in November according to the Hurricane Newspaper.

The latest incident comes during a difficult year for the three young Miami Hurricanes quarterbacks. Perry had posted a video of himself riding in a car with a large wad of cash earlier this year. The Redshirt Freshman was also suspended for the season opener for an unspecified violation of team rules.

The tumultuous season for Miami Hurricanes quarterbacks continued with Redshirt Freshman Cade Weldon receiving a four-game suspension in the middle of the season and Freshman Jarren Williams a one-game ban for the game at Virginia Tech. News also broke this week that Williams would be transferring from Miami.

Head Coach Mark Richt and his Quarterbacks Coach son Jon purportedly convinced Williams to stay at Miami. Williams likely would have stayed through next week’s Pinstripe Bowl game against Wisconsin. It’s conceivable if he had not that Miami could have been down to two quarterbacks if Perry received a suspension.

Both the Miami Herald and Newsweek reported on Perry’s latest indiscretion. Miami’s Athletic Director of Communication Cameron Ghobi released a statement regarding Perry’s incident.

"“We are aware of an inappropriate video posted on a social media account associated with one of our student-athletes. The video has been removed, and the posting has been addressed with the student-athlete. We will continue to be committed to high standards of conduct at UM.’’"

The Hurricanes Football Program and Athletic Department would not comment any further on Perry and what will happen going forward. When asked about Snapgate, Hurricanes Athletic Director Blake James redirected questions to Ghobi’s statement.

The Hurricane (newspaper) reported that no faces are visible in the video. With this being his third incident in less than a year it will be interesting to monitor the situation to see what action Head Coach Mark Richt takes with Perry.

The Hurricanes leave Saturday morning for the Pinstripe Bowl in New York. Perry is expected to travel with the team which would seem to indicate that there would not be a suspension.

When Richt suspended seven players for the Hurricanes Camping World Bowl victory over West Virginia in 2016, they did not make the trip to Orlando. Miami kickoffs against Wisconsin at Yankee Stadium on December 27 at 5:15 PM ET.
