No interceptions were reported by Miami according to the release per Susan Miller Degnan of the Herald. That’s encouraging of the QBs if there were not any. Diaz and Mark Richt before him have emphasized that they want their QBs taking care of the football. Diaz spoke about the team’s execution on Saturday.

"“I thought our guys played hard. Execution is a long way from where we wanted it. You could see, being outside and dealing with the heat for the first time, it took its toll. It takes a toll mentally. All of a sudden you’re playing slower…it probably took us to the second half where it became more competitive.”"

The Hurricanes have the next two days off of practice before getting back on the gridiron on Tuesday. Miami will also practice on Thursday before having their first practice open to the media and the public next Saturday at Traz Powell Stadium in Miami. The Hurricanes spring game will be held in Orlando April 20.

Diaz has spoken about the spring game being a dress rehearsal for the coaching staff and the players at Camping World Stadium where the Hurricanes will open the season August 24 against Florida. Hard Rock Stadium was initially unavailable because of since canceled Rolling Stones concert.
