Rolle was a star on the last of the great Miami football teams from 2001-04. He was a first-team All-American as a senior in 2004 and winner of the Jack Tatum Award honoring the nation’s best defensive back. Rolle started his last three years at Miami including on the 2002 National runner-up team.

Rolle played 11 years in the NFL with Cardinals, Giants and Bears. He named to three pro-bowls, second-team all-pro in 2008 and ’13 and was a member of the New York Giants XLVI Super Bowl Champions.

Vince Wilfork was an anchor of the dominant Miami Hurricanes teams in the early 2000s. He was a backup in 2001 and became an integral part of the rotation in 2002. Wilfork had 15 TFLs as a sophomore on the 2002 team that fell in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. That was preceded by 41 tackles as a freshman in 2001.

Wilfork continued to dominate as a Junior in 2003. The big nose tackle finished with 64 tackles, 11.5 TFLs, six sacks and 20 QB hurries. Wilfork was named first-team all-Big East at the end of the season. He missed out on earning All-American status but was the 21st overall pick in the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots.
