The Miami football program’s top rated 2021 class is gathering this weekend as part of Paradise Camp. The Hurricanes are hosting recruits from 2020-24.
The top rated 2021 recruiting class for the Miami football program is more because of quantity than quality at this point. The Hurricanes 10 commits are double second-ranked Notre Dame and more than triples anyone else. Getting the players on campus is always essential.
Canes Warning previously discussed the 2020 players participating in Paradise Camp. More than half of the attendees this weekend are 2020 prospects. Forty recruits in the classes of 2021 and beyond are attending Paradise Camp. Twenty-six players in the 2021 Class are participating this weekend.
Safety James Wiliams who was previously committed to Miami is the only five-star recruit in the class of 2021 at Paradise Camp. Seven four-star recruits in 2021 are participating and eight three-star recruits will be at Paradise Camp. The rest of the recruits at Paradise Camp are unranked according to Andrew Ivins of Inside the U.
Ivins complied the extensive list of 85 players who will be attending this weekend. Lineman Andrew Weisz who can play on both sides of the ball was not on Ivins’ initial list. Weisz announced on his Twitter account that he will be a part of Paradise Camp this weekend. Maryland is the only school that Weisz holds an offer from.
Six 2021 players who are committed will be at Paradise Camp. All six of those players are committed to the Miami football program. LB Melvin Jordan who just completed his freshman year at Clearwater Central Catholic is committed to Florida State. Jordan is the only non-UM commit from 2022 and beyond at Paradise Camp.
