Manny Diaz, defensive coordinators Blake Baker and Ephraim Banda and Hurricanes defensive line coach Todd Stroud will have to battle with Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Florida State among others to get a commitment from Page. Page’s recruitment will last for at least the next 18 months.

Five-star S James Williams

Listed as a safety, Williams size is impressive for a defensive back or linebacker. He would fit perfectly in Manny Diaz’s striker position. At 6’5 220, the usual elite suitors will be hard after Williams for his signature 18 months from now.

Four-star DT Leonard Taylor

Taylor and two of his Palmetto teammates are players to watch this weekend according to South Florida recruiting legend Larry Blustein. Blustein disseminated the information in a blog post on his page for his South Florida High School Sports show on the Hurricanes flagship station WQAM.

"“Miami Palmetto is going to be one of the programs to watch – and head coach Mike Manasco’s Panthers are stack with athletes who are expected to make the short drive to Miami. Class of 2021 DL Leonard Taylor, defensive back Corey Collier and versatile Jason Marshall are expected to be on hand.”"

Miami leads in 247Sports Crystal Ball for Taylor. He would be a massive commit, literally and figuratively, for Diaz and his staff. Ivins is one of three 247 recruiting prognosticators that project Taylor to the Hurricanes. Taylor needs to bulk up significantly from the 240 pounds he is currently at to play DT in college.

With a minimum of over 18 months before Taylor would arrive on campus, there is plenty of time. Diaz had also continually praised The New Miami strength and conditioning coach David Feeley during the 2019 offseason. Getting Taylor working with Feeley would put him shape to play DT quickly.
