Miami used a 19-0 run in the last 6:40 of the first half to take a 46-27 lead into halftime. After the Hurricanes stretched the lead to 20, Stella Azura used a 31-8 run of their own spanning the third and fourth quarters to take a 60-57 lead with 6:44 left in the fourth quarter. Miami closed the game out with an 11-3 run.

The Miami run came after they trailed 66-62. An eight to zero Hurricanes run inside the 11-3 run was fueled by five points from four-star freshman Isaiah Wong and a three from Vasiljevic. Miller finished with eight points and seven rebounds in just 17 minutes and Wong matched Miller’s eight points.

Miami will play the third and final game of their Italian journey and second straight against a Lithuanian team on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET in Costa Masnaga, Italy before returning home. The trip came at a good time for a team that has only three players who played for the Hurricanes in 2018-19.
