Redshirt freshman John Campbell is projected to start at right tackle for the Miami Hurricanes. Campbell and Nelson will team with Williams to give Miami the unenviable combination of freshmen at quarterback and both tackles. The experience for Miami on the offensive line will be from guard to guard.

Donaldson is entering his third season starting at guard. He is making the move from right to left after starting the majority of the last two seasons there. Donaldson starting the first half of 2018 at right tackle. Sophomore D.J. Scaife is transitioning from right tackle to right guard for 2019. Redshirt sophomore Corey Gaynor is starting at center.

Campbell was a consensus three-star signee in the Class of 2018. He played in four games last season to preserve his redshirt season. Campbell saw action against Savannah State, FIU, Toledo and the regular-season finale against Pittsburgh.

The former Orlando Dr. Phillips star has appeared to have beaten out redshirt sophomores Kai-Leon Herbert and Zalon’tae Hillery to secure first-team right tackle. Herbert and Hillery have failed to live up to their projections as consensus four-star signees in the class of 2017. Miami has to do a better job of talent evaluation on the offensive line.
