The largest margin of victory for the Hurricanes was also the one with the most bizarre final score. The Hurricanes held Florida to two safeties in a 31-4 victory. The game was not played in Canada and the Gators did not score a rouge.
Florida’s points came via two long snaps by Miami’s Willie Peguese that sailed out of the end zone. Florida head coach Galen Hall said after the game “I’d like to thank their center for helping us avoid a shutout.”
