Miami football: Hurricanes offense should get healthy vs. Virginia Tech

Miami allows an average of 59.75 rushing yards per game. Virginia Tech is allowing 189. That is 13th in the ACC. Only Georgia Tech is worse allowing 254.5 yards rushing per game.
Miami has run the ball fairly well this season except for the Central Michigan game. The Hurricanes numbers were better than they looked against Florida. Yards lost on sacks count as rushing attempts in college football. The Hurricanes were sacked four times against Central Michigan, 10 against Florida.
DeeJay Dallas has to bounce back from a subpar game against the Chippewas. Dallas had 38 carries for 310 yards and four touchdowns in the first three weeks. Against Central Michigan, Dallas had 14 carries for 34 yards. Miami has been better offensively passing than running this season.
Virginia Tech has been good defending the pass in 2019. The Hokies are 13th nationally allowing 163.3 passing yards per game. The Miami passing offense has been inconsistent the past two seasons. Under Dan Enos, the Miami football team has improved to 38th in passing offense in 2019.
Behind Jarren Williams, Miami is averaging 276.6 yards passing per game. Miami has at least 200 yards passing in all four games this season. The Hurricanes topped 300 yards through the air against North Carolina and Bethune-Cookman.
