Miami has five games left in the 2019 season. All but one of those are on the road. That is against Louisville next month. The Hurricanes have a pair of tough road games the next two weeks at Pittsburgh and Florida State. After Louisville, Miami plays FIU at Marlins Park and at Duke.

The Hurricanes have to win three more games to become bowl eligible. At this point that is not guaranteed. The losses to Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech are devastating. Losing to Florida and a road ACC Coastal game at North Carolina are more understandable. Wins over the Hokies or Yellow Jackets would put Miami in bowl position.

The two home losses place the Hurricanes in a position of having to win at least one road game. The game against Florida International at Marlins Park is considering a home game for the Panthers. In reality, Miami should have more fans at the game. At the very least it is a neutral site game with neither team used to playing there.

Butler does a great job on the post-game on the Miami football network on WQAM with Danny Rabinowitz. Butler has been in locker rooms at the college and professional levels. He understands the game on a far different level than fans. He continued the mantra that Harris and Romberg did putting the onus on the players.
