The New Miami football program has arrived with amazing offensive exhibition.

There was something missing and I will never fully understand how a team that came within four points of beating the University of Florida managed to lose to a two-win Georgia Tech team in a game that would have ACC title game implications. Granted Miami is only in the conversation as they are in the weak ACC Coastal Division.

If Wake Forest was in the Coastal Division they would be playing Clemson in the title game instead of a regular-season one. Watching the defensive players dancing on the sidelines in unison having a blast shows something about the team is different. The team has come together as a unit.

There’s never been any question that Miami is loaded with insane talent on both offense and defense but a mediocre group of guys that play together as a team often can beat a group of elite athletes that are not on the same page and that’s what is changed in my opinion. This football team is finally bonded with each other.

Everybody knew this would be a transitional year for Miami. It would seem that that transition has now taken place. Last year Miami lost a few key defensive players and this year will lose a few more.
