Miami needs to have good balance against the Panthers for the offense to run at their peak. The running game for Miami was overshadowed by Williams’ six TD passes in the victory over Louisville two weeks ago. The Hurricanes ran for 197 yards on 32 carries with one TD. The ground game had been poor before Louisville.

Miami had one 100 yard rushing performance as a team in the six games prior to Louisville which is simply not good enough. The Hurricanes are too talented with DeeJay Dallas and Cam’Ron Harris running the football to not reach 100 rushing yards as a team every game. Part of that has been the offensive line.

Injuries:

No injuries for FIU were reported either through their Sports Reference page or USA Today. The most critical injury for Miami is tight end Brevin Jordan. Diaz said earlier this week that the star sophomore tight end is expected to be a game-time decision.

The weather should not affect game conditions. Saturday is the last game of the year in South Florida for both teams. Miami finishes next weekend at Duke.
