The current New York Jet led the Miami football team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns as a senior during Miami’s 2017 ACC Coastal Title season. Redding III is the highest-ranked of the three. He is the 145th ranked player, 15th WR and 23rd in Florida.

Louisville, Pittsburgh, Georgia, Kentucky and Michigan all offered Restrepo according to Susan Miller Degnan and David Wilson of the Miami Herald. The Herald reported that Restrepo was the second leading receiver for Deerfield Beach where he teamed with MIami RB signee Jaylan Knighton.
In addition to his skills as a WR Restrepo went 12-16 for 180 yards and two touchdowns passing and was a key contributor on defense. Restrepo can also play strong safety. Redding III, Worsham and Restrepo were key signees after Miami lost 2018 signees Marquez Ezzard and Brian Hightower at WR.
