Louisiana Tech will have the home crowd behind them, the opportunity of playing a Power Five conference team and the rarity for them of playing on ESPN. The Miami football team needs to have the same motivation against Louisiana Tech that it did against Florida State and Louisville. Another letdown is not acceptable.

The familiar pipes of the ACC Network announcing team of Wes Durham, former Georgia Tech running back Roddy Jones and Louisville and former Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood will be in Shreveport on the call. Durham is the son of legendary UNC announcer Woody Durham and co-hosts Packer and Durham on the ACC Network.

Setting a lasting legacy (yes we have heard this before) creating positive momentum heading into the offseason and for the undecided recruits still considering Miami during the traditional National Signing Day in February are critical to building the program in a positive direction.
