Miami football 2020 schedule: one bye, no 2019 top 25, eight straight ACC games

a mediocre Georgia Tech team in 2019 in a game in which the kicking problems were highlighted. Baxa and
combined to go 0-3 on field goals against the Yellow Jackets in a game Miami lost in overtime. Georgia Tech needed to convert a fake punt for a TD to get to the extra session.
Miami spotted Virginia Tech a 28-0 lead before rallying behind backup QB N’Kosi Perry. Three Jarren Williams interceptions and a fumble by Perry helped the Hokies get the huge lead. Virginia Tech needed a late TD drive in the fourth quarter after Miami tied it at 35 to capture the 42-35 victory.
Miami has to travel to Blacksburg in 2020. The Hurricanes have not played well at Lane Stadium. The Hurricanes finish the regular season with Duke at home. Perry and Williams combined to go 13-35 for Miami in a 27-17 loss in Durham in 2019. The Miami defense allowed 287 yards, but the offense generated only 259.
We have heard for a few years how the schedule is advantageous. As it looks now the Miami football team has a manageable schedule in 2020. They do not have a long string of road games as they did in 2019. The Hurricanes get North Carolina and Florida State at home and only one game not on Saturday.
