When you consider the four four-star edge rushers do not include Roche and Rousseau, Diaz and Baker will be able to give opposing offenses a lot of looks. Rousseau played inside frequently on passing downs in 2019. With Roche and Phillips on the Miami active roster in 2020, the Hurricanes pass rush will be relentless.

The four-star defensive ends for the Miami Hurricanes in 2020 are redshirt freshmen Cameron Williams and Jahfari Harvey and incoming freshmen Chantz Williams and Elijah Roberts. Roberts could eventually move inside. Expect either Williams, Roberts or both to redshirt in 2020. Harvey and Cameron Williams should contribute in 2020.

Big things are expected of Harvey in the future. He was a standout on the scout team in 2019. Chantz Williams could force his way into the rotation. Chantz was the 76th ranked player overall, sixth-ranked weakside defensive end in the country and the 14th ranked player in talent-rich Florida in the Class of 2020.

Miami finished the 2019 season ranked sixth in the nation with 108 tackles for loss. The Hurricanes finished seventh with 46 sacks in 2019. Led by Roche, Rousseau and Phillips there is no reason to think that Miami shouldn’t improve on those numbers with more productive front four in 2020.
