That might not have been the official visit for the South Florida native. It was reported on Friday all recruiting is suspended until April 15.

The Coronavirus has wiped out sports as we know it for 2020 in some sports and put others on indefinite hiatus. Andrew Ivins of Inside the U reported on Friday that Miami head coach Manny Diaz and his staff did not have any major recruiting events or official visits set up before April 15.

The Division I Coordination Council will convene on April 15 to re-evaluate the situation with the Covid-19 virus to determine if in-person recruiting will resume at that time.

In the interim, phone calls and written correspondence, that is presuming, text, email and social media contact will be allowed. The Miami football team and the vast majority of FBS schools have suspended spring practice indefinitely. Miami is currently on spring break and was scheduled to return to practice on March 16.
