After three straight home games and a trip to Michigan State in 2020, the non-conference schedule for the Miami football program gets progressively more difficult beginning in 2021.

The challenge of playing Florida in Orlando to begin the 2019 season will pale in comparison to the 2021 season opener for the Miami football team. The Hurricanes kickoff the 2021 college football season against Alabama at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Miami will then host a strong Appalachian St. program and Michigan St.

The Hurricanes will close out their 2021 non-conference schedule against Central Connecticut State. Miami has non-conference games scheduled through the 2037 season. The entire Miami football team in that era are current toddlers at their oldest. Miami will play Notre Dame seven times between 2025-37 but not before then.

Other than the Fighting Irish, Miami has non-conference games scheduled through the 2028 season. The 2021 and 2024 seasons have the Hurricanes full slate of four non-conference games scheduled. Miami has three non-conference games scheduled in 2023 and ’25 and two in 2022, ’27 and ’28.

In addition to Alabama and Notre Dame, the Miami football program has seven games scheduled against other Power Five Football programs through the 2027 season. Miami hosts Michigan State in 2021, travels to Texas A&M in 2022, hosts the Aggies in 2023, plays at Florida in the 2024 season opener and hosts the Gators in 2025.

09/11 – Appalachian State
09/18 – Michigan State
09/25 – Central Connecticut

No school has dominated the Miami football program as Alabama has. The Crimson Tide has won 14 of the 17 meetings against the Hurricanes. The teams split the 1990 and 1993 Sugar Bowls that netted each program a national championship. Only four schools have more than the 14 wins Alabama has against Miami.
