The ACC announced on Friday that the Miami Hurricanes will have a takeover of the ACC Network on Sunday with great games in school history spread across football, baseball and women’s basketball.
The ACC announced on Sunday they will be airing a Miami Hurricanes take over from the 2019-20 school year and other games from the 21st century plus All-Access with the Miami Women’s Basketball team that aired on the ACC Network commencing at midnight on Sunday morning.
The 24 hour Miami Hurricanes takeover begins with the exhilarating 2017 41-8 victory over number three Notre Dame. Miami blitzed the Fighting Irish in the first half taking a 27-0 lead at halftime with punctuated by a 65-yard interception return for a touchdown by Trajan Bandy with 22 seconds remaining in the first half.
The victory over Notre Dame is followed by the record-setting performance by former quarterback Jarren Williams in Miami’s 52-27 victory over Louisville in 2019. Williams set a Miami record and tied the ACC record with six TD passes. That would be the high point of his Hurricanes career. Williams transferred after the 2019 season.
The Miami men’s basketball team gets their turn from 5:30 AM-7 with a re-airing of the Hurricanes 69-65 overtime victory over Syracuse to end the 2019-20 regular season. The win evened Miami’s regular-season record at 15-15 and clinched the ninth seed in the ACC Tournament.

The win over the Orange allowed Miami to avoid having to play in the first round of the ACC Tournament. With the bye, the Hurricanes matched up with Clemson in a 69-64 second-round loss. That was the last day of sports before all conference basketball tournaments were canceled nationally.
The entire list of the 24-hour takeover schedule is above. The wide-ranging programs span the major Miami sports that are usually televised. The only thing that could have been added would have been a retrospective on Miami women’s tennis player Estella Perez-Somarriba winning the 2019 NCAA Women’s Singles tennis title.
