The Miami football program is still being considered strongly by 2021 tight ends three-star Gunnar Greenwald and unranked Quentin Moore who is in junior college.

The Miami football program is still considering tight ends in the Class of 2021 to pair with three-star 2021 tight end commit Khalil Brantley. Three-star TE Gunnar Greenwald from Satellite Beach, Florida and unranked Quentin Moore from Independence community college in Kansas are still strongly considering Miami.

Greenwald announced earlier this week that Miami is one of the top eight schools he is considering. Central Florida, Indiana, Louisville, North Carolina State, Purdue, South Florida and UCLA are the other seven.  Indiana, Miami NC State and South Florida are listed as warm for Greenwald according to 247Sports.

Andrew Ivins of 247Sports Miami site Inside the U reported that the Wolfpack and Bulls are the projected leaders to sign Greenwald. Greenwald told Ivins he frequently speaks with Miami TE coach Stephen Field.

Miami’s history of producing NFL TEs and success of TEs in the offense run by new Miami offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee also appeal to Greenwald as told to Ivins. Greenwald is weighing multiple factors where he chooses to go to college but told Ivins the culture of the school and team and family vibe are critical.

Greenwald is the 754th ranked player nationally, 34th ranked TE and 108th ranked player in Florida in the Class of 2021. Brantley is 585th, 22nd and 86th. Greenwald and Brantley could complement each other like current Miami rising junior TEs Brevin Jordan and Will Mallory.

Brantley provides athleticism and Greenwald brings good size. Greenwald is listed at 6’5 220 pounds. Brantley is 6’2 205 and there has been discussion he could move to wide receiver. If Miami is unable to sign Greenwald, Moore is projected to sign with Oklahoma State by 247Sports national recruiting director Brandon Huffman.

Miami is among five schools Moore is strongly considering. In addition to Miami and Oklahoma State, Moore is warm on Mississippi, Tennessee and Washington. Moore is from the Seattle suburb of Seattle. Moore is 6.5.5, 240 pounds. Moore’s father Mark played TE at Oklahoma State from 1983-86 before being drafted by Seattle.

Moore recently narrowed his list to 10 earlier this month but Huffman reported on 247 Sports that Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Washington are the frontrunners. Field was acquainted with Moore when he was the director of recruiting at Oregon and is leading the recruitment for Moore.
