In a press release issued Thursday, the ACC became the last of the Power Five conferences to move their version of gathering the football media, ACC Kickoff days to be conducted virtually.

Via a press release on Thursday, the ACC became the last of the Power Five conferences to move their media gathering virtually. ACC Kickoff Days which was supposed to take place July 21-23 in Charlotte, North Carolina will now be held virtually. ACC Kickoff Days is still scheduled to remain July 21-23.

Information about the details of how the reconfigured ACC Kickoff Days will be announced at a later date. Miami will have two new players join head coach Manny Diaz for ACC Kickoff Days in 2020. Recent NFL Draftees, linebacker Shaq Quarterman and wide receiver K.J. Osborn joined Diaz in Charlotte in 2019.

The Miami players who are most likely to join Diaz for ACC Kickoff Days in 2020 are Houston graduate transfer quarterback D’Eriq King and rising redshirt sophomore defensive end Greg Rousseau. Both players are 2020 All-American candidates. King produced 50 TDs for Houston in his last full season in 2018.

Rousseau had a breakout season in his first full year playing college football in 2019. With 15.5 sacks last season, Rousseau moved to second on the single-season list for sacks in Miami history. If he would have had more snaps early in the season, Rosseau would have had a chance at Daniel Stubbs‘ program record of 17 in a single season.
