The 2021 Miami football recruiting class has several highly ranked uncommitted players the Hurricanes are still strongly recruiting. A commitment from any of those players would be a huge boost to a top 10 class.
The 2021 Miami football recruiting class received a big boost on Thursday night when five-star athlete James Williams announced the Hurricanes are one of his two finalists with Georgia. Williams is one of several highly ranked players still being recruited by Miami.
Receiving a commitment from any one of the players on this list could solidify Miami finishing with a top 10 class in 2021. The highest-rated commit to the Miami football program for 2021 is four-star wide receiver, Romello Brinson. Brinson is the 131st ranked player in the country, 23rd ranked WR and 20th player in Florida for 2021.
In addition to Williams, other highly ranked, 2021 players who are uncommitted and considering Miami are defensive tackle, Leonard Taylor, safety Corey Collier, defensive end Jabari Ismael and wide receiver Malik Nabers. Receiving commits from all five of the aforementioned mentioned players is a long shot.
Williams is favored to sign with Georgia and Taylor is eventually expected to ink with Florida. If Miami receives a commitment from either Taylor or Williams the Hurricanes would have an excellent chance to finish in the top 10 signing classes for 2021. The 2021 Miami recruiting class is currently ranked 10th.
A commitment from either Taylor or Williams would jump Miami to eighth ahead of Oregon and Texas and less than a point behind Michigan for seventh. Manny Diaz and his staff have done an exceptional job securing the nation’s 13 best signing class in 2020 and likely better than that in 2021.
