The Miami football schedule in 2020 is far more favorable than it was in 2019. After starting the 2019 season playing Florida in Orlando and at North Carolina, the Hurricanes host Temple, Wagner and UAB to begin 2020. Miami was named to have the nation’s third most favorable schedule by 247Sports.
The ranking of the 2020 Miami football schedule was part of an article by 247Sports of the “Ranking college football’s 9 most favorable schedules.” In addition to the first three games of the season, Miami hosts North Carolina and Florida State in 2020 and plays at Virginia Tech and Michigan State.
Those should be the four most challenging games for Miami in 2020. The rest of the Hurricanes schedule is at Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Virginia. Miami will host Pittsburgh and Duke in their other two home games. The three favorites in the ACC Coastal Division are Miami, UNC and VaTech.
The schedule is favorable for Miami to win the ACC Coastal. The toughest game of the season will likely be the meeting between the Hurricanes and Hokies November 14. The round-robin between Miami, UNC and Virginia Tech will likely decide the 2020 ACC Coastal Title. Clemson is the only other ACC team mentioned.

The 2020 Miami football schedule allows the Hurricanes to ease into the season more than they were able to in 2019. Temple will be a difficult game, but Miami is at home as opposed to playing Florida at a neutral site. Week two will be Wagner who is an FCS team an went 1-11 in 2019 instead of playing at North Carolina.
By the time Miami gets travels to East Lansing on September 26 the Hurricanes should be 3-0 with all the wins at home. That would put them in a good position for the remainder of the season. UNC who is 19th and Virginia Tech 25th are the two ranked teams Miami plays in 2020. Clemson has the easiest schedule per 247.
