Miami football top 5 to watch in 2021 recruiting cycle
Marshall is the third of the elite players from Palmetto the Miami football program is hoping to receive a commitment from. Marshall is likely the least likely of the Palmetto players to sign with Miami. The 30th ranked player, third-ranked CB and seventh-ranked player in 2021, Marshall leaning towards SEC schools.
Miami does not have an elite CB in the Class of 2021. Three-star commits Tim Burns Jr. and Malik Curtis are the only CBs committed to the Hurricanes for 2021. Four-star CB Markevious Brown from IMG Academy in Bradenton is strongly considering Miami and has already visited Coral Gables at least once.
Marshall dropped a new top five on Friday. Alabama. Florida, LSU and Oregon are his new finalists with the Hurricanes. It is going to be very difficult for Miami to beat out the three SEC schools who Marshall is clearly prefering. Marshall used the quote “You gon’ find me winning, I don’t care who lost.” in a tweet Friday.
Marshall clearly prefers a winning program. Taylor and Williams earlier stated they wanted to Miami win this season before making a decision. Taylor has clearly changed his mind with the August 6 commitment date. Marshall updated his finalists but without a commitment date.
