On the precipice of adding two five star commits, the Miami football program could have their biggest recruiting week in program history.

The Miami football program could receive commits this week from five-star recruits, cornerback Jason Marshall and defensive tackle Leonard Taylor both from Miami Palmetto. Three crystal balls were logged for Marshall over the weekend to Miami. Taylor will make his announcement on Thursday between Miami and Florida.

Taylor has crystal balls trending towards Miami as well. All nine 247sports recruiting analysts project Taylor to commit to Miami when he announcement public on Thursday about 1 PM ET on CBSHQ. All of the projections with Taylor committing to Miami have been logged in the last eight days.

The most recent crystal ball that has Taylor committed to Miami came from David Lake of Inside the U on Monday morning. Taylor is the 27th ranked player nationally, the third-ranked DT and sixth-ranked player in Florida in the Class of 2021. Marshall is 29th overall, second at CB and the seventh-ranked player in Florida for 2021.

Marshall sent Miami football twitter abuzz on Sunday when after five crystal balls were logged his way over the weekend, several Hurricanes staff members including head coach Manny Diaz sent out cryptic tweets that seemed to indicate something big was about to happen. The two events were extremely likely to be related.

Although neither Marshall nor Taylor had commited to other schools it appeared that Miami was lagging behind in their recruitment. The Hurricanes staff has essentially flipped Taylor from Florida where he appeared to be a lock to commit to and Marshall from the Gators or Alabama who appeared to be out front in his recruitment.

The addition of both Marshall and Taylor would vault the 2021 Miami recruiting class from 10th where they are currently ranked to fourth. This could be the best-signed class for the Miami football program in the modern era of recruiting that essentially began in the early 2000s when recruiting services were created.
