The Miami football program will have its biggest day of the summer when the announcement of the dates and times of their 2020 schedule will be released by the ACC at 9 AM ET and five-star defensive tackle Leonard Taylor will announce if he is committing to the Florida or Miami football program at 1 PM ET.

The ACC released the revised schedule of conference opponents for the 2020 season last month. Miami will play at Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The Hurricanes host Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh and Virginia. Miami is expected to host UAB in non-conference.

The UAB game was originally scheduled for Thursday night September 17. If the game remains that date or is moved to the weekend it would be the second weekend of the season. The ACC scheduled the week of September 7 which begins with Labor Day as the start of the season. That would create an ACC season opener.

Games at Clemson, Louisville and North Carolina State were added to the Miami schedule, Duke was dropped and Georgia Tech and Virginia were changed to Hard Rock Stadium
