Being a Miami football fan has had its ups and downs over the years but nothing can prepare Hurricanes fans for the 2020 season.

Miami Football fans want Canes Football and are getting Canes football. This is the most important thing The Miami football team can show the world this Canes squad is getting better. It is pleasantly surprising to be wrong that a 2020 football season did not seem possible.

It did not seem possible to have a football season. Much less one with fans in the stadium, so to be able to watch this much-improved team play is certainly a treat.

The 2020 season will be much like everything else in 2020. Let’s hope this is not the new normal of 13,000 fans with no students and no alcoholic beverages at all.

For most season-ticket holders the decision to go to games it’s not to be taken lightly. There are restrictions and undoubtedly there are fans very eager to go to the Florida State game, which is seemingly the highlight of the home football schedule every two years.

What does a Miami football game even look like when Hard Rock Stadium is mostly empty? For many Miami fans, this would be reminiscent of past seasons where there was just no Miami football fanbase to show up. This year however is very different.

Realistically speaking Miami having to play Clemson so early in the season is going to prove to be a very difficult task.

A task made even more challenging by it being an away game. Trevor Lawrence might be in for a little bit of a surprise with the pass rush he’s going to be facing.
