At Louisville September 19

Miami begins ACC play at Louisville September 19 after crushing the Cardinals 52-27 at Hard Rock Stadium in 2019. Louisville returns the potent trio of quarterback Micale Cunningham, running back Javian Hawkins, and wide receiver Tutu Atwell. Cunningham threw for 219 yards and two TDs in the loss to Miami in 2019.

Hawkins ran for 91 yards and had a 40-yard reception last season and Atwell had six receptions for 142 yards and an 80-yard TD reception. The Miami defense is going to have to be focused for a potent Louisville offense. The extra two days off should help Manny Diaz and the Miami coaching staff to prepare.
