Ahead of the Miami football game with Louisville on Saturday night Canes Warning exchanged five questions with the Cardinals’ FanSided partner site Big Red Louie.

The Miami football team will travel to Louisville on Saturday night for what will likely be one of their biggest games of the 2020 season.

Miami and Louisville are expected to be two of the biggest contenders for one of two spots in the ACC Championship game likely against Clemson. With the Atlantic and Coastal Divisions eliminated for 2019, the Cardinals and Hurricanes are playing for a second straight season.

Miami would not normally be scheduled to play Louisville again until 2025. ABC is televising the game in Primetime and ESPN College Gameday will broadcast from Louisville Saturday morning.

Louisville has an explosive offense and improving defense. Miami scorched the Louisville defense in a 52-27 victory at Hard Rock Stadium in 2019.

Louisville was hurt by three turnovers and penalties, but had 495 yards of offense in the loss. Louisville QB Micale Cunningham threw for 343 yards and three TDs in their opener.

Former Miami quarterback Jarren Williams had a Hurricanes and ACC record six TD passes against Louisville last season. D’Eriq King is a huge improvement for the Miami football team at QB and against what has been a porous Cardinals defense should be able to move the ball on the ground and in the air.

Canes Warning exchanged five questions with our FanSided Louisville partner site Big Red Louie. Louisville enters the game as the favorite, but can the Cardinals improve enough on defense and continue to be explosive enough offensively to control the game and limit Miami. Below is our questions and the BRL responses.
